From Home to Sturgis we drove 1918 miles, we took I90 and I80 to the Badlands and then to Sturgis.

From Sturgis to Home we drove 1917 miles, we took I90, then turned north to Canada, crossing in Sault Ste Marie and returning via the Cornwall crossing in New York.

In total we touched 13 states and 2 provinces of Canada.

I burned 233 gallons of diesel at an average cost of $2.74/gal for a total of $638.49. We made this same trip in 2014, we burned 236 gals of diesel at an average price of $4.01. That is 31% cheaper than last year or 45% more expensive than this year....wow. 

I averaged 16.50 miles per gallon overall, slightly better than last year, but I drove a bit slower.
